Members of the New Life Tabernacle senior group, strive to keep in touch with fellow seniors and to provide a spiritual atmosphere for social gatherings. The purpose of this ministry is to support seniors, letting them know that the church loves and appreciates them.
The Golden Agers promotes spiritual growth and Christian fellowship for all church members in the seniors age group. This ministry seeks to connect with the seniors of New Life Tabernacle and keep them involved in fellowship activities.
The Golden Agers leadership oversees the planning of all activities, which are designed to create an atmosphere conducive to encouragement and socialization. Regular events, as well as special activities, are held throughout the year.
Each month, the seniors will gather at a certain location to conduct their fellowship.
Whether it’s a time to eat, or just times to socialize the seniors have a time of fun and fellowship. Their activities include but are not limited to daily excursions to neighboring cities and a night at a senior’s house for dessert or coffee.
